Atticus Boy scores at Kempton

Jockey Stevie Donohoe was determined to get a nice tow into the race and rode positively to hold his position early on. Atticus Boy travelled well throughout the race and responded nicely when shaken up two furlongs out. His willing attitude meant that he went on to dominate in the final furlong, winning comfortably by one length.

After the race, David Lanigan said "He is a nice horse who appreciates some juice in the ground. Mentally he is improving with each run and hopefully he will of learnt a lot today."

Atticus Boy is by Cape Cross out of the multiple-winning Rock Of Gibraltar mare Satwa Pearl. Satwa Pearl is a full-sister to Lp winner and G2p producer Victoria College and is a half-sister to five-time winner and G2p Urban King. He is a half brother to the useful 4 year old Take A Turn, who is also in training at Rathmoy Stables.

Congratulations to his owners 21st Century Farms who also bred him. Well done to his groom Shankar Dasaru, regular rider Sandeep Pawar and all of the team at Rathmoy Stables.
