Light Of Joy makes it a Hat Trick

Sent off 3/1 second favourite, she had to be ridden slightly different this time due to her high draw and was sat off the pace. With the field going a sensible gallop, she was able to creep nicely into the race and make steady headway 3 furlongs out. For a moment it looked like Shanghai Silver may have slipped away from the rest of the field, but Light Of Joy stuck her neck out to grind him down, going on to score by a length.

After the race jockey Fran Berry said "The surface was riding slower than ideal, but Light Of Joy is enjoying her racing and will go on to progress."

Congratulations to her owner and breeder, Flaxman Stables Ireland. Well done to her groom Helle Jess, regular rider Claire Fetherstonhaugh and all of the team at Rathmoy Stables.
