Take A Turn strikes again at Lingfield

Posted on: 21st Aug 2017 by: David R. Lanigan

Take A Turn returned to winning ways on Monday at Lingfield. Back at 10 furlongs, jockey Tom Queally settled Take A Turn in mid-division for the better part of the race before making a move two furlongs from home. He took over the lead a furlong out and stayed on well to land this handicap in impressive fashion, making it two wins from his last three starts.

Following the race jockey Tom Queally said, "Take A Turn has taken a while to learn the job. I probably got there a bit too soon, but he dug it out."

Take A Turn is by Henrythenavigator out of the multiple-winning Rock Of Gibraltar mare Satwa Pearl. Satwa Pearl is a full-sister to Lp winner and G2p producer Victoria College and is a half-sister to five-time winner and G2p Urban King. Satwa Pearl also has a stunning two-year-old son of Cape Cross in training with David at Rathmoy Stables.

Congratulations 21st Century Farms Limited, owner and breeder of Take A Turn. Well done to groom Ali Sayed and all of the team at Rathmoy Stables.
